New Online Experience

The pandemic has compelled FOTA to take a different direction this year, moving from the usual physical art show to an online exhibition. This year more than ever, the artists need our support and we all could use what the artists offer us. Building this website has been a rewarding experience and we hope it is fulfilling for you. Thank you for your support.

Promoting Kenyan Art

FOTA’s mission is to promote the arts in Kenya and to serve as a link between artists and the ISK community. FOTA’s aim is to give East African artists exposure to an audience of enthusiastic supporters and buyers as well as to give the wider ISK community the opportunity to see East African art at its best.

How it Works

Step 1 – Have a look around and find something you like. You can save a list of your favorites by clicking on the heart over the image.

Step 2 – Reserve your piece by adding it to your cart and going through the checkout process. Please note that until you complete the checkout process, the piece is still available to other buyers.

Step 3 – Make a payment by local bank transfer (Kenyan shillings or US dollars) to ISK’s bank account or by Mpesa using ISK’s Buy Goods Till number within 24 hours. Once your payment is verified by a member of our team, we will update your order status and your artwork will be saved for collection. Please note that it is not possible to accept international bank transfers.

Step 4 – Pick up your items on April 25th. Further collection details will be provided.
